WHAT HAPPENED?
Several campus network and IT services were intermittently unavailable.  Affected services include, but are not limited to:  AVOW, Banner Imaging, GT Events (EMS), Coldfusion Applications, part of GT webhosting, several ESX servers and their related VMs, and TouchNet.

 
WHEN DID IT HAPPEN?
From 9:40 AM until 10:30 AM on June 1, 2017.

 
WHY DID IT HAPPEN?
OIT discovered a bug in the code of the storage server which supported the affected services.

 
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
No user action is required.
 
 
HAS THE PROBLEM BEEN RESOLVED?
