WHAT’S HAPPENING?
KACB will have a full building power outage. A list of affected servers and services are below.

WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?
Starting at 5pm on March 14th, 2025, TSO will power down servers in KACB 2219 data center.
Switchgear maintenance will begin on Saturday, March 15th, and continue until completed on Sunday evening, March 16th. 
TSO will begin powering up servers at 7am Monday, March 17th, and will provide a status update at 2pm.

WHY IS IT HAPPENING?
Routine switchgear maintenance for buildings occurs every five years.

WHO IS AFFECTED?
Occupants of KACB and all faculty, staff, and students with computers located in KACB or that use the following servers/services in the KACB 2219 data center.

Affected services:

Linux:
esperanto: classes.cc.gatech.edu, faculty.cc.gatech.edu, and sites.cc.gatech.edu
felix: Undergrad home directories hu23, hu24,hu25
holder: Faculty home directories
oscar: Grad student home directories hu19, hu20, hu21
transporter: DNS / NTP / YP Master

Windows:
cc-shemp: adminfs, winhome, and commshare
cc-larry: FileMakerPro - ccdb.cc.gatech.edu
cc-curly: Uniflow/Printing printer server
cc-trakaweb: Keybox Servers
