WHAT'S HAPPENING?
A networking issue with the KACB router caused a short outage to wired networking and College services located in the Klaus Building.
WHEN DID IT HAPPEN?
TSO became aware of the issue around 8:30am, 11/06/19. Networking was restored at 8:56am.
WHY DID IT HAPPEN?
The KACB router experienced issues routing network traffic. The chassis was rebooted and networking was able to resume. TSO is still investigating to find the root cause of the issue.
WHO IS AFFECTED?
Users on wired networking in CCB, KACB and TSRB may have experienced issues connecting to the internet. Most College services were also inaccessible during this time.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
If wired networking has not recovered, try reconnecting your ethernet cable. No other user action should be required. Please contact the Help Desk if you notice any lingering issues from this outage.
