WHY IS IT HAPPENING?
A recent code update introduced a bug in the sync process between the Mac Mail client and Office 365. OIT is working with Microsoft to address this bug.
WHO IS AFFECTED?
Users of the Mac Mail configured to access an Office 365 mailbox.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
Please use Outlook Web Access (OWA, https://mail.gatech.edu) or Outlook 2016 for Mac (available from https://software.oit.gatech.edu as part of Microsoft Office 2016 for Mac) in the interim. This issue can be tracked at https://status.gatech.edu/.
