WHY IS IT HAPPENING?

Cisco has released a security advisory for the code currently running on the TSO Cisco Nexus data center switches. TSO is also using this maintenance window to install a second switch to ensure these servers are dual up-linked to prevent downtime in the future. TSO will schedule a second date in the future for the Nexus switches located in CCB247.

WHO IS AFFECTED?

Users attempting to access the servers listed above may find them unavailable during this maintenance window.

Affected services: networking, virtual machine services

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?

Users should save any work they are doing and disconnect from the affected servers before 5pm on February, 19th. No other user action should be required.
