UPDATE:

We have verified that Microsoft is throttling our service. We are still working with OIT and Microsoft on the issue. From 5:30 - 6:30pm tonight, TSO will make a configuration change to ace4.cc.gatech.edu and restarting the mail service. No mail will be lost. No user action is needed.

 

WHAT'S HAPPENING?

Potential email delays are currently occurring for emails coming from CoC systems.

 

WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?

Beginning February 11, 2021 and is ongoing

 

WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?

Microsoft has deferred some connections from the CoC email infrastructure. We are working with campus service managers to resolve the issue.

 

WHO IS AFFECTED?

Recipients of emails coming from CoC systems. Some examples are mailman.cc.gatech.edu, Mopiers and systems hosted in CoC data centers, etc.

No user action is needed.
