WHAT’S HAPPENING?
Computers on the CCB 2nd floor south side will be briefly without networking.

WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?
Monday, August 13, 2012, between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM.  Unless all work is completed in this maintenance window, the work will continue on Tuesday, August 12, between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM.

WHY IS IT HAPPENING?
TSO will upgrade the network equipment in the CCB 2nd floor south side data closet.

WHO IS AFFECTED?
Computer users in RIM.  TSO will have both the new equipment and old equipment running, so the switchover will happen quickly, resulting in minimal downtime for affected computers.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
Affected users should save their work prior to the maintenance and be prepared for service interruption during the maintenance period.  Some affected users may need to reboot their workstations if their home directories do not successfully remount following the maintenance.
