TSO will be moving the Windows Home Directory service - located on winhome.cc.gatech.edu - to new hardware.

winhome.cc.gatech.edu

WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?
Tuesday, September 27th, 2022 at 5pm.

WHY IS IT HAPPENING?
The server that is currently hosting the directories has reached end of life, and the move will increase responsiveness and stability of the service.

WHO IS AFFECTED?
Any College of Computing staff who utilize their Windows Home Directory (located on winhome.cc.gatech.edu).

Affected services:
The Windows Home Directories file sharing service

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
The change should be transparent and not require any action on your part. Users may be asked to re-enter their username and password for their home directory or re-map the drive. Instructions on how to map your Windows Home Directory can be found here:
