In May, 2014, Autodesk changed its Education business model, providing free access to Autodesk's professional desktop and suites for educational institutions in North America. This opportunity allows Georgia Tech and other educational institutions to freely access Autodesk software. Several popular packages are available such as AutoDesk, Maya, 3ds Max, SoftImage, SketchBook Express, and more. The College of Architecture manages Autodesk licenses for campus and has made the software available for download at the following link:
