WHAT’S HAPPENING?
In previous semesters, the College of Computing has made VMWare products available automatically to all students enrolled in a CS course. VMWare has moved to a new vendor and platform for distributing the VMWare tools and changed their subscription model - instead of the flat rate offered at OnTheHub for as many licenses as needed, the new vendor (BrightSpace) is charging per license. We have purchased an initial batch of licenses and will be giving them out on an ‘as-needed’ basis, purchasing more as needed.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
Students -
If you need access to VMWare software, and are enrolled in a CS, CSE, or CM course this semester, please fill out the form located here -

Faculty -
If you teach a course that requires VMWare please send an email to helpdesk@cc.gatech.edu with the course number(s), and expected enrollment. A reminder about the new process will be included in the Request for Academic Requests sent before each semester.
