WHAT’S HAPPENING?
OIT Network Services will upgrade one of the core campus routers from 10G to 40G, affecting network connectivity to the CoC.
 
 
WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?
The maintenance is scheduled for Thursday, February 4, 2016, from 4:00 AM to 6:00 AM.
 
 
WHY IS IT HAPPENING?
To improve campus network speeds and to upgrade the router software.
 
 
WHO IS AFFECTED?
All CoC personnel and anyone attempting to access CoC websites.  Network connectivity will be affected in KACB and CCB during the maintenance window which will affect access to CoC network home directories, adminfs file shares, and CCAD login authentication.
 
 
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
Be prepared for service interruption during the maintenance window.  To prevent any related authentication or home directory issues, TSO recommends that you log out of your desktop machine before leaving work on Wednesday, February 3.
