WHAT’S HAPPENING?
OIT is having an electrical contractor upgrade the power for the networking equipment located in the KACB 2217 MDF.  

WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?
Wednesday, October 5th from 6AM-7:30AM.

WHY IS IT HAPPENING?
The power upgrades will accommodate new networking equipment arriving in early 2023.

WHO IS AFFECTED?
OIT has already performed these upgrades in other data closets in KACB and expect no impact to network service. To mitigate any outages, alternate power outlets are being temporarily used so that the core building switches can remain up and online during the maintenance.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
No user action is required.
