WHY IS IT HAPPENING?
Unmanaged systems on the impacted subnets must be mitigated for the vulnerability CVE-2026-31431 as directed by the Office of Information Technology (OIT).
 
WHO IS AFFECTED?
Users of Linux systems on the impacted subnets.
 
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
Users of non-managed Linux systems will need to self-patch their systems for CVE-2026-31431 and reach out to helpdesk@cc.gatech.edu.
