WHAT?S HAPPENING?
The CoC network will be taken offline for fiber maintenance.


WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?
Saturday, January 9, 2010, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.


WHY IS IT HAPPENING?
Some fiber network cabling in the CCB was damaged by rodents. Contractors will be on-site to run new fiber in, as well as reroute existing undamaged fiber to, conduit that will provide future protection for the College's main fiber runs.


WHO IS AFFECTED?
All users of the CoC network, including users in the Aware Home, CCB, KACB, and TSRB. Visitors to CoC websites. CoC VPN users. Users attempting to authenticate to their CoC Exchange account. Email addressed to @cc email addresses will be queued and delivered once the network is again available. LAWN in KACB and TSRB will still be accessible during the maintenance period.


WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
Users should save their work prior to the maintenance period and be prepared for service interruption during it.
