WHAT HAPPENED?
The CoC networks were without network connectivity to the GT campus during a reboot of the North Interconnect router. Following the reboot, CoC networks have been experiencing DHCP issues.


WHEN DID IT HAPPEN?
The network connectivity was down between 4:00 AM and 4:10 AM, Tuesday, September 13, 2011. The DHCP issues began following the reboot.


WHY DID IT HAPPEN?
The reboot was due to OIT upgrading the code on the North Interconnect router. The cause of the DHCP issues is being investigated.


WHO WAS AFFECTED?
Users of DHCP on the CoC networks.


WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
No user action is required at this time.


HAS THE PROBLEM BEEN RESOLVED?
No. The continuing issues are being investigated.
