How to Perform MacOS Updates Using the Campus Update Management Service

OIT has implemented a new operating system update service for managed macOS systems. Starting March 11th, 2025 if your system is not fully updated, a pop-up notification will be displayed prompting users to update their system. Users may update or defer updates to a later time. This initial update may be deferred until April 10th, 2025.

After this initial update, any additional system updates will follow the same notification process and may be deferred for up to 30 days.
